RFT, Non-Exempt                                                                                           Monday – Friday

                                                                                                                        8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Position Summary

Prepares copy preparation/layout for The Mountain Spirit, all departmental printing needs, including newsletters, brochures, ads, internal direct mail packages, letterhead/envelopes, annual report, etc. Completes design/layout and sees that each item is printed in-house or externally to the correct specifications, as needed, meeting direct mail schedule dates. Helps coordinate special creative events such as Planned Giving events, State Fair, Ichthus, etc.

 

Education Requirements

Associate’s degree or 18 months of education or training beyond the high school level up to 4 years length in

Communications, Graphic Arts, Publications or related field.

 

Experience Requirements

1-2 years of successful experience in graphics or job related field, or the equivalent combination of education and

experience.

 

Physical Requirements

Physically able to reach, push, pull, bend, stoop, stand, walk and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds and

carry a distance of 15 feet; sit for extended periods of time with extended use of video display terminal;

have good visual acuity with corrective lenses and good hearing capabilities. Possess a valid Kentucky

driver's license and maintain a safe driving record.

 

Working Conditions

Normal office environment with moderate noise level due to office equipment; sit for extended periods of time;

extended use of video display terminal; travel on various types of primary and secondary roads.
